Apple Pie Waffles
Recipe type: Breakfast
  • 1⅛ cup Oat Flour
  • 1 scoop About Time Vanilla Protein Powder (25% off code: FANTASTICALLYFIT)
  • ½ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • ¾ cup Liquid Egg Whites or 4 Egg Whites
  • ¼ cup Non Fat Greek Yogurt
  • ½ teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ teaspoon Butter Extract
  • ½ cup Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk
Apple Pie Topping
  • 1 teaspoon Coconut Oil
  • 1 Apple, chopped
  • 1 packet Stevia
  • ¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Sliced or Slivered Almonds
  1. Heat the waffle iron and spray it with ALOT of non-stick spray.
  2. In a bowl mix all of the dry ingredients together and set aside.
  3. In a mixer or food processor mix all of the wet ingredients together until fully combined.
  4. Then pour in the dry ingredients and mix together.
  5. Pour batter onto center of hot waffle iron (check manufacturer's directions for recommended amount of batter).
  6. Bake for about 5 minutes or until waffle looks cooked and can be easily removed from waffle iron.
Apple Pie Topping
  1. Place the coconut oil in a pan on medium heat.
  2. Then toss the chopped apple in the coconut oil until coated.
  3. Sprinkle the cinnamon and stevia over the apples.
  4. Cook until apples are softened.
  5. Top the waffles with apples, sliced or slivered almonds and more cinnamon.
